The body communicates electrically, and high electrical or electromagnetic fields could cause insomnia, restless or non-restful sleep, that “jumping” feeling you sometimes get in muscles, anxiety and often nightmares.

Obviously, the second easy reduce these risks is to turn off the electric blanket before getting in bed, or otherwise within five minutes of getting in. This will also prevent b1ankets in the center of the evening in the hot sweat… something I have done many times as being a forgetful child!

What other choices there? Well, there’s always that lovely standby, the water bottle. These are awesome, cheap, you can get really cute and cosy covers for them, plus they possess the added bonus that can be used them being a COLD water bottle in summer.
